This original piece was created in the spirit of Georgia O'Keeffe's paintings. I studied the movement and her use of light and adapted it to 3-dimensional sculpture. Like Georgia, the Calla Lily is one of my favorite flowers. Unfortunately, this piece was stolen from the Corcoran Faculty Show held at Washington Square in Washington, D.C., in August 2003.
