This was my first attempt at portraiture, modeled after the original limestone piece carved by Master Sculptor, Constantine Seferlis, in 1958 (shown in photograph). Through Constantine's teachings of classical sculpture and anatomy, this creation was a lesson in the proper techniques of portraiture.
