This marble was well-suited for the delicacy of the Southern Magnolia bloom. The Colorado Yule Marble came from the same quarry as the stone used for the Lincoln Memorial. Although it is a very durable stone, I was amazed at how the carved stone appears soft and velvety to the eye. This was the inspiration for the name.
