Dear John Sonnier:

On behalf of the Exhibitions Committee, thank you for your submission to the National Sculpture SocietyÕs 2003 Annual Exhibition. The Jury of Selection reviewed 954 slides of works from 204 sculptors in application to the exhibition. I am delighted to inform you that your work, Just Jack in the Pulpit, was one of the 52 pieces selected by the jury for inclusion in the show.

The exhibit will open at Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina on Saturday August 30, where it will be installed through October 26. After the exhibit ends in South Carolina, it will travel to the National Sculpture Society at the Park Avenue Atrium in New York City, where it will open to the public on November 3rd and run through the holiday season, until February 13th. Exhibition Awards will be presented in New York City at the SocietyÕs Annual Meeting in January 2004.

We plan to produce an exhibition catalog illustrating each of the works in the show. Catalogs will be available for sale. The exhibition will also be posted on the SocietyÕs website at www.nationalsculpturesociety.org. We are using the slide of Just Jack in the Pulpit, for this purpose, but are returning any other slides you submitted herein.

Congratulations! We look forward to working with you as we prepare for this exciting exhibition.

Yours Sincerely,
Gwen Pier
